After the announcement of withdrawal of controversial agricultural laws by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the farmers have once again rallied demanding fixing of minimum support price for all agricultural commodities.

Rakesh Takit and Balbir Singh Rajiwal, leaders of the farmers' union Bharat Kisan Union, also addressed the rally, while social activist Yogendra Jadhav was also present.
Rakesh Takit said, "The movement on the borders of the federal capital will continue till all the demands of the farmers are met.He demanded that the government should enact a law to fix minimum support price and declare 700 farmers who were killed during the movement as 'martyrs'.
Social activist Yogendra Jadhav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was suffering from arrogance.
According to him, "the people of Bengal have given them a small injection for this (arrogance disease) which proved to be effective, but they need big food which is the election of Uttar Pradesh."
Yogendra Jadhav also said, "I want to make it clear that the farmers' protest will continue until a law is enacted to guarantee a minimum support price." The nature of the protest will be decided by the front.
