Dubai's traffic police have introduced a state-of-the-art system for recording violations; violations other than not stopping a vehicle and using a mobile phone while driving can be automatically noted for a pedestrian crossing.
According to the Emirati magazine, Dubai Traffic Police has introduced a state-of-the-art auto car system to prevent accidents and improve the traffic system.
Regarding the modern system, the traffic police said that the system is powered by solar energy and is equipped with highly sensitive cameras and scanning systems.
The current phase of the car system itself involves the use of mobile phones while driving and invoices for seat belt violations.
Dubai Traffic Police has introduced its own car system at the G-Tax exhibition. The system will be installed at zebra crossings on highways in the second phase to ensure the safety and convenience of pedestrians crossing the road.
Pressing the warning button installed in the system to cross the road using the car system will turn on the system which will note the speed of the vehicle coming on the road and give it a warning signal as well as the traffic signal light installed there will turn red. Which means that the vehicle passing by the road will give time to the pedestrians crossing the road
Video of vehicles not stopping at the signal will be recorded while registration numbers with full details of vehicle speed and time given by the single will reach the traffic police control room from where it
will be automatically registered against the driver.
