England beat Australia by eight wickets in a crucial T20 World Cup match.
In the match being played in Dubai, England captain Owen Morgan won the toss and invited Australia to bat.
The entire England team was bowled out for 125 in the allotted 20 overs.England achieved the target of 126 runs for the loss of two wickets in the 12th over.
For England, Jose Butler scored an unbeaten 71 off 32 balls while Johnny Burston remained unbeaten on 16.
Jason Roy was dismissed for 22 runs. Agar and Adam Zampa took one wicket each for Australia.
Earlier, Australia did not have a good start and opener David Warner returned to the pavilion with a score of seven runs. Steve Smith was dismissed for a run.
Glenn Maxwell's total of 15 runs continued to run. With a total score of 21, Marcus Stevens fell victim to Adil Rashid without scoring a run.
Captain Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade formed a 30-run partnership. Wade's innings also came to an end on a total of 51.
Ashton Eger and Captain Finch formed a 47-run partnership.
Ashton Eger was dismissed for 20, while Australian captain Finch returned to the pavilion for 46. The Australian team piled up 125 runs in the allotted overs.
Chris Jordan was the most successful bowler for England with three wickets while Chris Vokes and Time Mills took two wickets each.
Australia have made a change to the squad against England and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been replaced by specialist sniper Ashton Agar.
Remember, England have played only one match so far and have two points, while Australia are top of Group One with four points thanks to two wins in two matches.
