England beat West Indies by six wickets in the second match of the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup.
England won the toss and elected to field first, which proved to be correct as the West Indies players piled up one by one and the entire team could score only 55 runs.
England scored the required 56 runs for the loss of four wickets in the ninth over. Butler remained unbeaten on 24 runs.
Earlier, West Indies' Avon Lewis was dismissed by Chris Vokes in the second over of the match, while Moin Ali led Lendl Simmons to the pavilion in the next over.
Chris Gayle and Shamron Hitmeyer added 18 runs to take the score to 27 when Moin caught Hitmeyer.
The West Indies could not recover from the loss of Time Mills to Chris Gayle. After him, Devin Bravo and Nicholas Puran could not show any special performance.
Andre Russell could not help the team in difficult times and fell victim to Adil Rashid and after him Pollard also started walking.
In the Super 12 stage, each team will play five matches and in the end, the top 2 teams of Group 1 and Group 2 will qualify for the semi-finals.
