England have beaten Bangladesh by eight wickets in a Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup.
In the match played in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first and Bangladesh managed to score 124 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Mushfiqur Rahim was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 29 runs while Mahmudullah and Nasim Ahmed scored 19 and 19 runs respectively. Noorul Hassan scored 16 and Mehdi Hassan 11 runs. In addition, no batsman was able to enter the double digits.
For England, Time Mills took three wickets, Moin Ali and Liam Livingstone took two wickets each and Chris Vokes took one wicket.
England easily achieved the target of 125 runs for the loss of two wickets in the 15th over.
Jason Roy (61) and Jose Butler (18) were all out while David Milan (28) and Johnny Bairstow (8) were not out.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka while England won against the West Indies.
