Pakistani-American businessman Zia Chishti has resigned as chief executive officer and chairman of the artificial intelligence company Affinity after being accused of sexually harassing a co-worker.
Affinity said in a statement that the company's board of directors had announced that Zia Chishti had resigned immediately.
A spokesman for Affinity added that the company's board would make further announcements regarding the company's organization in the next two years.Zia Chishti is associated with the IT industry and is the founder and CEO of Affinity Company. He was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the then Pakistani government in 2016 for his outstanding performance in his field.
It should be noted that on November 16, Zia Chishti was charged by his co-worker with serious allegations of sexual harassment and violence.
Affinity had earlier in a statement denied Tatiana's allegations and dismissed them as false.
Tatiana Spotswood, a former employee of Zia Chishti, appeared before the House Judiciary Committee of the US Congress on November 16.

He says that at the insistence of Zia Chishti, after 9 months, he promised to be with her and in the next 10 weeks, they spent time together five times and then they ended the relationship with Zia Chishti.

Tatiana says she joined Affinity 2016 and was happy to receive a salary of 60 60,000 a year.
"But later I found out that Chishti did not want to treat me as an employee. Instead, he pressured me to have sex for the next 18 months and kept punishing me."
He claims that when he tried to discourage Zia Chishti, he insulted him in front of his co-workers and then completely ignored me, after which he was afraid of losing his job.
Referring to a visit to Dubai, Tatiana said that Zia Chishti harassed her in front of her colleagues but no one took action against her.
They claim that Zia Chishti harassed another female employee but Affinity did not take any action against her but gave her money from the Secret Fund.
Referring to a business trip to Brazil, Tatia claimed that Zia Chishti sexually assaulted him.
"They told me they should have had sex with us when we first met, when I was 13 years old."
Tatiana also gave pictures to the Congress showing signs of torture on her face and neck.
