Award-winning historian Dr Muhammad al-Baqa'i said that he was extremely happy and proud to receive Saudi citizenship. Words are not enough to express happiness.
According to Al Arabiya Net, Dr. Al-Baqa'i has been granted Saudi citizenship on the basis of numerous historical works and translations of important historical books. During 2018, King Abdullah has received the International Translation Award.Dr. Al-Baqa'i was born in 1956 in the Syrian city of Homs. He did his BA in Linguistics from the University of Damascus. From Syria he moved to France, where he received his PhD in Linguistics from the University of Lyon in 1992.
Dr. Al-Baqa'i said that the news of getting Saudi citizenship was an indescribable joy for the whole family. Happily, there was a sense of extraordinary security. As soon as they saw it, they became citizens of a country led by a great leader.
He said that it was his wish that the beloved homeland would continue to set new milestones of development and development in the same way as the founders of the kingdom and then their ruling sons have dreamed for it.
Dr. Al-Baqa'i said that he has three children, two daughters and a son. All three were born and educated in Saudi Arabia. The news of citizenship was big news for everyone. Realized that they have now truly found a homeland.
Dr. Al-Baqai's wife, Randa Salamah Al-Yafi, is working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science Management at King Saud University. Tears of joy welled up in his eyes on hearing the news of his citizenship.Al-Baqa'i said that there are various programs for the future which are related to the fulfillment of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
He said that the intention was to present the national culture in a new form.
