Saudi Arabia's state-owned airline Saudi Arabia has decided to operate an additional daily flight from London to Riyadh from mid-December.
According to Arab News, the manager of Saudi Airlines in London said this on Tuesday.
Speaking at a ceremony in London, Sultan Otafi said: "The extra flight will depart from London's Heathrow Airport at 10 am and arrive in Riyadh at 7 pm."
"From December 15, we will double flights from London to Riyadh and increase the capacity of these seats," he said.
It may be recalled that Saudi Arabia had issued tourist visas in 2019, which has made it much easier for tourists to enter the country than in the past.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashid Mogherida, a British hajj, said that the last 18 months had been very difficult not only for the tourism sector but also for other sectors, but appreciated the steps taken by the Saudi government to open up the country.
