The world's longest track has been built for a Formula One car race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, located on the shores of the Red Sea in the Corniche region.
According to Al Arabiya and Okaz, Formula One 2021 is being held in Jeddah from December 3 to 5. The Saudi Motor Organization is managing Formula One.The world's longest and fastest track has been set up for Formula One car races.
The racing track is built on an attractive beach at a distance of 12 km from the central area of Jeddah city. It will be one of the most unusual tracks in the Formula One race.
The Jeddah Corniche track is 6.175 km long and has 27 turns. It is considered to be the longest and fastest racing track in the world at the International Tournament for Formula One races. The average speed will be more than 250 kilometers per hour.
The Jeddah Corniche track will also consist of a 280 meter long building. This four storey building is under construction. It will have high quality and unique features. It faces the sea, and from here the Formula One race city of Jeddah and the sea can be seen at the same time.
The Cornish track circuit can be twisted at an angle of 180 degrees. The high-speed area of the track will start after exiting the 23rd turn.
The speed of vehicles here is expected to be 322 kmph. This will be the speed till the last 27th turn. Flood lights are being installed at 27 corners of the track.
The world's longest track has been built by 3,000 contractors and 50 companies from 30 countries.
The Managing Director of Formula One Motor Sports says that there will be opportunities to overtake each other on the track, in addition to which vehicles will be able to run at equal speeds.
