Thousands of Sudanese took to the streets in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Thursday to protest.
Leading political parties and Sudan's powerful protest movement have opposed the decision by ousted Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk to sign an agreement with the army, according to Reuters.Military leaders have agreed to bring back the prime minister, who was ousted a month ago. Some have called it a betrayal and said it was politicizing the occupation.
In Khartoum, working class protesters chanted slogans. He also demanded justice for those killed in previous protests.
Protesters also blocked a main street in the journalist's neighborhood in the capital, Khartoum.

Live broadcasts on social media also showed protests in various cities, including Port Sudan, Kasala, Wad Madani and El Jenina.
Although Prime Minister Hamdouk was reinstated with the consent of military leader Burhan, major political parties and civilian groups say the military should not play a role in politics.
