Three members of the West Indies cricket team and one member of the supporting staff on the tour of Pakistan have tested positive for Corona.
According to a tweet from Cricket West Indies on Saturday, Ruston Chase, Sheldon Cottrell and Kyle Myers have been ruled out of the series against Pakistan due to positive corona.Cricket West Indies added that "all three cricketers are currently in isolation while one member of the non-coaching staff has also fallen victim to Corona."
"All four were tested for corona on arrival in Pakistan, which turned out to be positive. All four have been vaccinated and do not show any signs of cod."
According to Cricket West Indies, "other members of the squad underwent corona tests twice which turned out to be negative."
Cricket West Indies clarified that the series against Pakistan will continue as per schedule.
The three T20 matches between the two teams will be played on December 13, 14 and 16 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies will also be played in Karachi.
The two teams will play the first ODI on December 18, the second on December 20 and the third ODI on December 22.
