According to the Kuwaiti news agency Kona, the Amiri House has issued a statement saying that during March 2022, the Emir of Kuwait appointed Lieutenant General (retd) Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Remember that Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was born in 1956. He continued to rise through various military ranks, reaching the rank of Lieutenant General and retiring from the Ministry of Interior. He was holding the post of First Deputy Prime Minister from March 9, 2022. Earlier, he was the Deputy Chief of National Guards. He is the eldest son of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
