Damascus: 2 people were killed and 12 injured in a rocket attack by an unknown party on the opening ceremony of a church in Syria.
According to the World News Agency, a rocket attack was carried out on a church in the Syrian province of Hama while the opening ceremony was in progress.
At the time of the attack, the inauguration of the church was attended by top Syrian government officials and Russian military officials.
The fall of the rocket caused a stampede and the stage was completely destroyed, resulting in the death of 2 people and 12 injuries.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Many armed groups are active in the war-torn country, while international forces are also active in the war in the name of peace.
