The world's largest floating nightclub has opened in Dubai on an old ship, the Queen Elizabeth II.
According to Arab News, the opening party was held on Thursday at the luxury float venue with a capacity of one thousand people.
American actress Lindsay Lohan, rapper The Baby and British boxer Aamir Khan are expected to visit the club this weekend.
However, due to the corona virus, parties will be limited and bookings for the table will have to be made in advance. Security guards will stop people from standing and dancing and police in plain clothes will patrol.
Dubai took the toughest measures to stop the spread of the corona virus and lifted the ban on such entertainment venues in August.
"It's great to see these things reopen," said Rob Smith, a British citizen. Things seem to be back to normal. "
The Queen Elizabeth II was bought in 2008 by DP World, a Dubai-based company under the supervision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for about نو 59 million.
In 2018, the hotel opened in some parts of the ship. The opening of the club was delayed due to Corona.
The ship was launched in Scotland in 1967. It is 963 feet long and has so far carried more than 2.5 million passengers.
