Police in the US state of New York have arrested a 24-year-old man who attacked World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler Seth Rollins.
Videos that have gone viral on social media show former world champion Seth Rollins returning from a match at the WWE's Monday Night Raw event when he is suddenly attacked by a man.
The video shows Seth Rollins and an unknown person fighting. However, the wrestling company's own security separated the two and handed the unidentified man over to the police. Seth Rollins survived the attack.t should be noted that WWE is an entertainment company and battles inside and outside the ring are part of the script.
However, this incident was not part of the company's script.According to sports website ESPN, the wrestling company says that "the WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously."
"The person who attacked Seth Rolls has been handed over to the New York Police Department and will be prosecuted."
Seth Rollins is one of the biggest stars in the wrestling company and has been a former WWE World Champion. His real name is Colby Lopez.
