Riyadh Regional Police spokesman in Saudi Arabia says law enforcement teams have arrested four Saudis on charges of providing asylum and transportation to those entering the kingdom illegally.
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, nine different types of firearms, 494 rounds of ammunition, a vehicle and a large amount of money were also recovered from the possession of the accused.Twenty-three intruders, including 21 Yemenis and two Ethiopians, were detained from the shelter provided by the suspects.
The four Saudi nationals and all the intruders living near them were prosecuted and handed over to the prosecution, where they will be prosecuted.
The regional police spokesman added that the law provides for 15 years imprisonment and a fine of up to 1 million riyals for harboring or facilitating the intruders.
