Saudi Arabia is preparing to open the 'Black Stone' for Umrah pilgrims and pilgrims to kiss, for which a permit can be obtained through a special app.
Sabq News quoted its sources as saying that further relaxation would be done with precautionary measures after the Aiwan-e-Shahi allowed the arrival of Umrah pilgrims and worshipers in Masjid-ul-Haram with full capacity.The sources further said that those who are circumambulating the Ka'bah should be allowed to come to the upper floor of Masjid-ul-Haram, in the courtyard of Mutaf and to kiss the Black Stone and Rakn-i-Yamani, and also to perform supererogatory prayers inside the Holy Ka'bah. Special changes are being made in the app for payment of Nawafil in Hajar Aswad and Hajar Ismail, under which only those who get permits will be allowed to go to the said places.
The sources further said that all possible steps are being taken by the Department of Affairs for the convenience of the pilgrims so that they can worship in complete peace and harmony.
Earlier, the management of Masjid-ul-Haram had issued permission for the arrival of Umrah pilgrims and worshipers under full capacity, while the upper floor of Masjid-ul-Haram was asked to be opened only for Tawaf.
It is pertinent to note that after the outbreak of Corona virus, in March last year, as a precautionary measure, the visit of Masjid-ul-Haram Umrah pilgrims and the general public was banned.
Initially, the number of visitors to the Masjid al-Haram was limited, but later people were allowed to come with full capacity.
