WASHINGTON (Reuters) - More than 20 people were injured when a car crashed into a Christmas parade in the Milwaukee suburb of Wisconsin, police said.
According to the police chief, there were "some" casualties, but he did not say how many.

Police Chief Dan Thompson said an investigation was under way but a "suspicious vehicle" had been recovered. He said that some of the injured were taken to the hospital by the police and some were taken away by their relatives.
"We have a suspect we are looking at at the moment," the police chief said.
However, it was not clear if the man was arrested.
Speaking to the media in Milwaukee, Mayor Sean Riley said he did not believe there was a threat to the public.
In Wakisha, about 20 miles west of Milwaukee, police are urging people to stay away from the city center.
Live video feeds of the parade from the city of Wakisha, as well as videos taken by parade participants, showed a red car breaking through obstacles and speeding down the road where the parade was taking place.A video taken along the parade route shows a group of teenage girls dancing with white pompoms and Santa hats.
The car crashes into the group while the filmmaker shouts "Oh my God!" The video shows people leaning towards at least one girl lying on the ground.
The parade is sponsored by the city's Chamber of Commerce. This was the 59th edition of this year's event, which takes place on the Sunday before Thanksgiving each year.
