The spokesman said that the affected countries have resorted to strict security measures to deal with the corona virus. There are calls for a ban on masks, and a ban on hotel quarantine for non-vaccinators.
A spokesman for the health ministry said: "Many countries have also announced that those who do not get vaccinated will not receive free coronavirus treatment and will be charged for their treatment."
The spokesman said that "seasonal influenza is likely to spread to Saudi Arabia in the near future."
All Saudi citizens and expatriates should take precautionary measures and get seasonal influenza vaccine.
"So far, 500,000 people in the country have been vaccinated against seasonal influenza," he said.
